Planning evidence based interventions: using the Handbook
NAHIP conference: influencing change through Knowledge, Will and Power, London, 27th September 2010
Speakers: Catherine Dodds
Catherine Dodds presented at the NAHIP conference as part of an expert-led session focussing on Evidence based approaches to intervention design. The session explored the process of developing evidence that can strategically and effectively inform HIV prevention programmes, and considered how evidence can be employed to develop and deliver interventions that can meet the needs of African people living in England. Catherine's talk focussed directly on the use of the planning process outlined in the African HIV prevention handbook in relation to these issues.
