From its first occurrence in 1993 the Gay Men’s Sex Survey has been a collaborative venture. Listed below are all the collaborators we’ve ever had. Where an agency name occurs it denotes they have suggested questions for the survey, distributed it to service users as a booklet (1999-2007) and / or worked with us at Pride events (1993-2002). Where only a web address is shown they’ve recruited to the survey via their website (2001-2007). Both a name and web address denotes they have used multiple recruitment methods.
This list will always be a work in progress and corrections are welcome. Where we are certain an agency has ceased to exist, or has merged into another this has been noted. Where a website has closed down it is deleted. Where an NHS name change has occurred it is updated, where it is known.
Some collaborators have worked with us every year since the survey went national in 1997 and have recruited thousands of men during that time. Others have had less stamina or success. All are listed here once and thanked again. It really wouldn’t be possible without you.
